Advocate Digital Media Wins National Native Advertising Award

Advocate Digital Media recently won the Best Native Advertising/Sponsored Content Campaign award in the Local Media Association's Digital Innovation Contest. ADM received this award for their work on DeTar Healthcare System’s integrated 2016 native advertising campaign, which ran on as well as on targeted display ads across the web. Entries were submitted by agencies, newspapers, broadcast companies and digital news sites from throughout the United States.

For this particular award category, Advocate Digital Media submitted several examples of content development work done for DeTar Healthcare System utilizing ADM’s custom content platform, BrandSense. BrandSense is an article-driven strategy for local businesses to share informative, relevant articles to educate the public and is heavily promoted both on the local site as well as across relevant websites across the Internet through targeted display advertising.

"This is a highly competitive contest that recognizes the best of local media when it comes to digital innovation," said Nancy Lane, President of the Local Media Association. The winners will deliver presentations at the LMA Digital Revenue Summit in May in Chicago.

“DeTar is thrilled to align our digital content strategy with ADM and to see the incredible results we have from the BrandSense campaigns. Through this innovative program, we’ve broken new grounds in the area of content marketing, helping to educate the Crossroads on relevant healthcare topics. We are pleased to see both our efforts as well as Advocate Digital Media’s native advertising strategy, rewarded through this national digital media contest,” said William Blanchard, CEO.

“ADM being recognized for the industry-leading work being done right here in Victoria, Texas is an incredible honor,” said Jason Holmes, general manager of Advocate Digital Media. “Receiving this national award for Best Native Advertising from such a well respected national organization like Local Media Association speaks volumes about ADM’s inventive native advertising done for DeTar Healthcare System.”

“I'm thrilled to see ADM get recognized by these awards,” said Easton. “They do terrific work for their clients, who they see as partners. This is also a testament to some of those partners, including DeTar Healthcare System, who make the investment in these types of campaigns.  Without their commitment, we wouldn't be able to innovate.”

The Local Media Association serves more than 2,400 local media companies in the industry including newspapers, TV, radio, directories and pure plays as well as several hundred research and development partners with the digital transition via programs, conferences, webinars, research and training.
